I'm Adrià Bagó Flaquer, a criminal attorney registered with the Barcelona Bar Association under number 43697. My vocation for criminal law began at Pompeu Fabra University and has continued throughout my professional career. Both in my Bachelor's degree and in my Master's degree to Access the Legal Profession, I chose to specialise in this subject. By the end of my studies I had the opportunity to do my internship at one of the most prestigious criminal law firms in Barcelona (Melero&Gené Advocats) and, upon completing it, I continued working there as a lawyer.
Since my early years at the firm, I have been involved in a large number of highly complex cases, some of which received wide media coverage. As a result, I have also participated in drafting appeals to high national and European courts (Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, European Court of Human Rights, etc.).
At the same time, I completed my training and gained experience. In terms of training, I completed a Master's Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences at the University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University, probably one of the most selective and prestigious in the country. In terms of experience, in addition to my work at the law firm, I worked as a public defender, where I have handled hundreds of cases that have given me a very broad view of the subject.
At the beginning of 2023, I was hired by one of the most important law firms in Spain (Cuatrecasas) and joined the Criminal Law Department. There, I was able to further improve my skills alongside great professionals, working daily on complex white-collar crime cases.
This comprehensive career path has allowed me to discover what I need to offer clients in order to resolve criminal cases effectively:
Plan a strategy for the entire procedure as far in advance as possible, to avoid surprises and discover all the strong points that will enable us to win the case.
Devote sufficient time to each case. If a lawyer's schedule is too full, they cannot serve their clients in the way they deserve and need.
Maintain constant communication with the client. Keep you informed of every development and agree on every action, for your peace of mind and to ensure that the path we follow is always the best possible one.
